See the first footage from upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me
Initial shooting for the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me recently wrapped in Las Vegas and now we have a (very sneaky) first glimpse at the film.
A video of the editing room has surfaced on Instagram, featuring a scene depicting an infamous courthouse interview where Tupac declared: “I’m not angry at them, I’m angry at the system.” It’s a piece of ‘Pac history that gets referenced often when talking about his candor-filled interviews, so it’s an appropriate bit to see first.
Production of All Eyez On Me has been a bit tenuous. Last year, the film’s original director left the project before Hype Williams protégé Benny Boom stepped in to fill the role.
Watch Demetrius Shipp Jr.’s spot-on ‘Pac and the real interview the scene is based off of below.
