A YouTube user by the name of TRONICBOX has reimagined Justin Bieber’s recent single ‘What Do You Mean’ as a 1980s ballad complete with a decade-appropriate look for the pop star.

With reverb heavy drums and a ripping sax solo, this version is almost guaranteed to make the prom king realize you were the one he was looking for all along.

We know Biebs has been working in the studio with Rick Rubin and Kanye West, but this almost makes us wish he’d shift direction.
