The rock star bought the iconic home last summer.

Since Prince’s death, many facts about the musician’s very private life have come to light. Today, it was revealed that the Minneapolis home of Prince’s character The Kid in Purple Rain was bought by Prince quickly after it went up for sale last summer.

As The Current points out, the owner of the home is listed as NPG Music Publishing, a company that was owned by Prince and is currently under the control of the Bremer Trust.

It was far from the only property Prince owned in the Twin Cities. As the publication pointed out, he owned over 200 acres of property making him one of the largest individual land owners in the city.
