The juke and footwork luminary preps his first full-length in five years.

DJ Diamond was a major player when Planet Mu was particularly pushing juke and footwork. Starting off as a producer at age 13, the Chicago native has been making music for almost two decades. He released his debut album Flight Muzik with them in 2011 and is now readying its follow-up Footwork or Die.

He’s previewed the album, which is out October 21 via footwork label Duck N’ Cover, with snippets of almost every song on the tracklist (for some reason unbeknownst to us, track 11 is missing).
