The show has also featured Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden.

HBO’s wild-west-sci-fi-android-existential-action-drama series Westworld launched recently and fans have gradually picked up on composer Ramin Djawadi’s unique tributes to modern rock music.

Taking a sharp turn from the other series he composes for, Game Of Thrones, Djawadi has included popular songs like Radiohead’s ‘No Surprises’, Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’, and The Rolling Stones’ ‘Paint It Black’ in piano arrangements. Now they’ve been collected by Watertower Music in official streams if you’ve ever wanted to hear what the Cure’s ‘A Forest’ might sound like in an old west saloon (pretty good!) or The Stones’ classic redone with gauzy strings.

Listen to them below and keep an eye out for Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Something I Should Never Have’ soon.
