Deadmau5 is not a fan of his “fucking rushed” and “slapped together” new album
“I don’t even like it,” the producer said.
Deadmau5 will release his new album W:/2016ALBUM/ next month, but according to a brutally honest series of tweets, the producer is not feeling his latest work.
“I don’t even like it. It was like… so fucking rushed / slapped together. But I mean… hey, if you like it I wanna like it too, just don’t,” he said, clarifying that he is happy with the songs ‘Snowcone’ and ‘Whelk’.
When asked by a fan why he would release an album he doesn’t like, the producer responded “COZ I GOT FUCKIN MAD BILLS”. He also hinted being unhappy with other recent releases, saying it might be time “to just sit down, and work on this fabled ‘album I like’ thing I’ve been wanting to do for the past 10 years.”
W:/2016ALBUM/ is out December 2. Read the tweets below and listen to one of the songs he enjoys below.
