Two masters hold court at the famed New Morning.

Techno originator Jeff Mills and legendary Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen will live stream an hour-long jam session from beloved Parisian jazz club New Morning tonight.

Filming was not part of the plan when the pair originally announced the show in November, but due to the relatively small capacity of the club Mills agreed to a live stream.

This isn’t the first time Allen has worked in techno music (he’s collaborated with Moritz Von Oswald Trio and French disco producer Cerrone, for example), but it is a rare meeting of two extremely influential minds.

The show begins at 9:30 PM CET (3:30 PM EST, 12:30 PM EST) and can be streamed via Arte Concert.
