All tickets will be refunded.

Princess Nokia has pulled out of her upcoming Australian tour “due to extreme exhaustion and health concerns.”

Promotoers The House of Mince posted a statement from the New York rapper earlier today (February 28), explaining that all tickets for her headline shows would be refunded.

“Due to extreme exhaustion and health concerns from a hectic touring schedule I will be unable to make it to my shows in Australia,” the note reads, adding: “We are already working on new dates and I look forward to seeing all my fans in Australia this year.”

An organiser for Golden Plains festival later appeared to confirm the cancellation via Twitter.

New York-born Destiny Frasqueri was due to play four dates in Australia, beginning this Thursday.

Earlier this month, Frasqueri allegedly punched an audience member during her show at a Cambridge University charity event after he “harassed her during her performance” and mouthed “dirty obscenities like, show me your tits.’”

The rapper allegedly asked the white male student if he was being “disrespectful,” before adding: “I’m so sorry, but when a white boy disrespects you, you punch him in the fucking face.”
