A mysterious release for a good cause.

After the success of their recent anonymous Covert II charity EP, Touched is back with an expanded edition that doubles the size — and the chances of hearing more IDM legends.

The release is a team effort with De:tuned to feature anonymous artists from both labels’ archives which include Autechre, Amon Tobin, Holly Herndon, Bibio, Ital Tek, Nils Frahm and more.

As we deduced from the smaller edition, the EP likely includes Plaid remix (the track ‘Filmed Lipear’ is an anagram for “Plaid Melifer”, a track from the group’s recent album). The press release mentioning “a variety of Cornish acidic sounds” also has us wondering if it’s a subtle reference to Cornish acidsmith Luke Vibert or even, dare we say, Aphex Twin.

As with every Touched release, all proceeds go towards Macmillan Cancer Support, an organization dedicated to helping people diagnosed with cancer by provided support, information and resources.
