Canadian indie-rockers The Arcade Fire will stream their August 5 show at New York’s Madison Square Garden live on Youtube.

According to Gorilla vs Bear, the webcast, which will mark an opportunity for fans worldwide to hear cuts from forthcoming new Arcade Fire album The Suburbs is being “directed by a well-known, as-yet-unamed luminary”.

You can watch a trailer for the webcast below, which was directed by Spike Jonze (that’d be that well-known luminary then, we guess), and features a snippet of ‘Rococo’, a previously unheard track from The Suburbs.
