The xx’s Romy Madley-Croft has contributed vocals to a new single by Creep.

Creep are Brooklynites Lauren Dillard and Lauren Flax, and they’ve been pretty swiftly lumped into the whole witch house scene/movement/fad/phenomenon – probably because they’ve chucked a massive crucifix on the sleeve artwork [below], which is kind of asking for it. Anyway, the single will come out on January 25 via Young Turks, and features remixes by Deadboy and Azari & Ill.

After this, there’ll be a single called ‘You’, featuring cruelly underrated R&B duo Nina Sky, as well as a collaboration with DFA’s Planning to Rock. An album is planned for 2011.
