Joy Orbison is to make a rare DJ appearance in the US as special guest at Francois K’s Deep Space on April 11.

Deep Space, Francois Kevorkian’s long-running Manhattan showcase of dubwise electronic sounds, celebrates its 8th anniversary with a little help from Joy O, the London-based artist who’s that rare thing: a DJ as distinctive and devastating as he is a producer. Expect Detroit house, garage-flecked techno, swinging dubstep and the ghosts of jungle.
