FACT will be curating Room 2 at Sunday Best’s May 7 party at London’s Cable.

Room 1 will feature a pair of headline live sets by two of dance music’s most unique artists: legend jungle and house producer Photek, who recently returned to the dance music frontline with new, modernised material, and one of FACT’s favourite artists in Actress, the twisted mind behind the modern classics Hazyville and Splazsh. Also in Room 1, you’ll find Bullion and Sunday Best ringleader Rob da Bank.

As means of contrast, we decided to use the second room to showcase four new artists pushing our buttons this year: DJ Champion, Ossie, Brey and Logos.

Recent New Talent pick DJ Champion was behind some of UK Funky’s biggest cult anthems in ‘Lighter’, ‘Motherboard’ and ‘Tribal Affair’, and after a year off from release, he’s back with a vengeance for 2011 with a series of singles due on his own label, Terror Danjah’s Hardrive imprint and more.

Ossie’s ‘Tarantula’ meanwhile, was arguably the underground UK house anthem of the past year, and finally saw release last month through the new Lightworks label. With a Hyperdub single penciled in next, his status is just going to rise.

Brey is a London-based artist with roots in Angola, and has recently found love in the sets of Brackles, Slackk, Bok Bok, and most notably, Pearson Sound, who included ‘Face [Junk]’ on his recent FabricLive CD. And finally, Logos makes eski-daubed music that is frankly blowing us away right now. If you’ve heard Ben UFO DJ lately, you’ll have heard the incredible ‘Kowloon’, due for release on Keysound.

You’re going to be hearing a lot more about this four in the coming twelve months, so what better time to get familiar with them? Cable runs from 10pm-6am, Advance tickets are still available here.

Oh, and here’s some audio to get you in the mood:

Brey – ‘…’

Ossie – ‘Tarantula’

Champion – ‘Motherboard’

Logos – ‘Kowloon’
