You can now listen to Dave Sitek’s remix of ‘No Light, No Light’, the latest single to be taken from Florence + the Machine’s Ceremonials.

Sitek is of course the TV On The Radio member and super-producer much lauded for his work on records by the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Telepathe, Foals and Liars. His version of ‘No Light, No Light’ is – perhaps surprisingly – a dancefloor-friendly number, respecting Florence’s powerful vocal and the epic sweep of Paul Epworth’s original production, but adding buzzing synth lines and rolling drum breaks for extra momentum and momentousness.

The remix is available on The Vinyl Factory and Island Records’ “luxurious special edition” of ‘No Light, No Light’, which is the second in a series of limited Florence vinyl releases with The Vinyl Factory, each showcasing Florence Welch’s creative collaboration with Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld.

Each cover has been screen printed, silver foiled and hand-numbered on white card, and features a unique series of photographic portraits personally taken by the fashion legend and exclusive to these releases.

Each sleeve holds a heavyweight 180g 12″ white vinyl contained in bespoke black inner.

This edition is the only physical release of ‘No Light No Light’; it’s released on January 16, 2012, and available to pre-order now.
