According to Mary Anne Hobbs, speaking on Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 show this morning, the guest on her final show will be either Madonna, Prince, Burial or Aphex Twin.

We’re guessing that the first two are red herrings, so if Hobbs is true to her word, then the guest on her last show – which takes place tonight, at 2am – will be one of Aphex or Burial. Given that the other guests on her closing run of shows, such as Shackleton, Digital Mystikz and Joker, have all provided guest mixes, this could be very exciting.

Hobbs announced that she would be leaving Radio 1, where she’s helmed the experimental music show for the best part of a decade, earlier this Summer. It was recently revealed that the slot would be taken over by 1Xtra’s Benji B.

The guest will be revealed on Zane Lowe’s show tonight, between 7pm and 9pm UK time.
