French producer Holy Strays has remixed ‘Portrait of Silence’, by Scandinavia’s recent Chromatics support Philco Fiction.

There’s something simultaneously wide-eyed and wary about Turid Solberg’s vocals; a bit like getting drunk off too much Amaretto and losing your mates in a superclub. Actually, with Strays’ backing – skittish bursts of 808 drums and heavily panned delay, it’s more like being lost in a brothel. Score one for the bad guys.
