Premiere: stream 'Tetrahymena', from legendary electro unit Dopplereffekt's first release since 2007

Gerald Donald’s legendary Dopplereffekt project will release its first release since 2007 this month.

Formed in the mid-1990s, Dopplereffekt ran alongside Gerald’s more well-known group Drexciya until 2002 when James Stinson, the other member of Drexciya died of a heart condition. Although there have been several remixes and live shows in that time, Dopplereffekt haven’t released a record since 2007’s Calabi Yau Space. That changes on September 30, when Berlin’s Leisure System label release Tetrahymena – three tracks of classic, ice-cold electro. We’re streaming the lead track below.
