On September 21, Vauxhall’s Lightbox will host a garage-heavy bill, full of young faces and dab hands. 

Convened with Obscure under the banner of The Upfront Project, the night has a line-up that spans the generations. Top of the bill is the redoubtable DJ EZ, enjoying something approaching godfather status in the aftermath of UK garage’s forceful second wave. He’ll be joined by another veteran, MJ Cole, now back making two-step after a long period in the wilderness, and looking all the better for it.

PAUG DJ and grime progenitor Slimzee will be going back to back with DJ Wonder, and brilliant  younger-gen producer/selector Brackles will also be appearing. Adventurous funky producers Lil Silva and TOYC are on the bill, as is Orgy Banton.
