Since relocating to London this time last year, promoters Coma have made quite a dent on the capital’s techno scene.

Coma are set to celebrate a year of operations in the city with a mid-October blowout. On October 12, Dalston’s The Nest will welcome Detroit bigwig Rolando. Following on from releases on Underground Resistance at the tail-end of the Nineties, the man behind ‘Knights Of The Jaguar’ continues to push his Latino brand of techno. Expect high velocity cuts from one of the city’s more dextrous DJs.

Blueprint kingpin James Ruskin, currently resident at Tresor, will also be stopping by. Anticipate a wide-ranging techno set that isn’t afraid to tilt towards the darker end of the genre: his FACT mix included the likes of Silent Servant and Traversable Wormhole. The night will also feature a showcase from Surface Records, previously responsible for releases from the likes of Sandwell District, Surgeon and Regis: 65d Mavericks, Oliver Ho and Voidloss all feature. Doubleffe rounds out the bill.

The night will run from 9.00 until 4.00am. Tickets and further information are available here.
