Turning 5 this year, London’s Make Me have a very special birthday party planned this Saturday March 30.

They might have started things off humbly in a pub basement in Bethnal Green, but Make Me has gone from strength to strength in the last half-decade, and nothing says that better than a good old fashioned party. Topping the bill is ‘dark house’ don DJ Qu, who brings his unsettling, cavernous sounds to the UK for the first time in 2013 so far, supporting his catalogue of releases on Strength Music, Deconstruct and Underground Quality.

Joining him will be fellow New Yorker Anthony Parasole, who as founder of the Deconstruct imprint should hardly need any introduction, but he promises to bring a thicker, sturdier house sound to the Hoxton Basement and between the two DJs we should get a good window into the US house scene as it stands right now.
