There’s still more than two months to wait before you can get your rocks off to DJ Koze, Leon Vynehall, Tama Sumo and the rest in the forests of Hertfordshire.

To ease our suffering, Farr Festival’s organisers have just announced a warm-up night at Corsica Studios with Pender Street Steppers, the Vancouver duo whose dazed and dusty take on house has won them plenty of fans over the past year.

The Mood Hut outfit will be joined on June 5 by ESP Institute regular and Rush Hour employee Young Marco, party crew Thunder, Douglass and Corsica residents. Tickets start at £4 – grab them here.

Pender Street Steppers, Young Marco and Thunder all play Farr Festival on July 18 on the Ransom Note & Society stage – weekend and day tickets for the festival can still be yours.
