The label has assembled an all-star cast of associates to mark its fifth anniversary.

Blackest Ever Black will be celebrating its five years of “the mysterious, the disquieting, and the absolutely bloody miserable” this autumn with two massive events in London and Berlin.

Going under the name Five Wretched Years of Blackest Ever Black, the London leg takes place at the ICA on September 26, with Berlin’s party happening at Berghain on October 30, each reflecting its expansion from gothic electronics into something more diverse since it launched in 2010.

The event at the ICA highlights the more esoteric corners of the label’s catalogue across features a daytime and an evening programme. It features performances from composer Jac Berrocal, David Fenech & Vincent Epplay, Officer!, AF Ursin, Ashtray Navigations, Stefan Jaworzyn, Dalhous, F Ingers, AD Jacques and a DJ set from label mainstays Raime (pictured above).

The Berghain event focuses on the label’s dark take on contemporary electronics, with live shows from Raime, Tropic of Cancer, Prurient and Diät joined by DJ sets from Regis and Felix K. Upstairs in Panorama Bar is a PAN line-up consisteing of label head Bill Kouligas, M.E.S.H., Objekt, Lee Gamble and Rinse FM’s Josey Rebelle.

You can find tickets and details of the London events at the ICA website. Full details on the Berlin event can be found at the Berghain website.
