No label captures the demented spirit of rave quite like Rephlex Records.

Sinces its formation in 1991, Richard D. James and Grant Wilson-Claridge’s label has provided a home to some quite astonishingly good, and ground-breaking, releases. It’s also peddled its fair share of utter nonsense, but that’s a price we’ve been willing to pay for its endearingly goofy humour and consistent lack of pretentiousness – Rephlex is as inclusive, not to mention unhinged, as the acid parties that inspired it.

Over the following pages we pick out 10 of our favourite sleeve design’s from the 21 years of the label’s existence.
