On September 5, one of Germany’s finest will stop by London’s Oval Space by for a very, very rare London show.

Today, we published our full Top 100 Albums of the 1980s list, with Manuel Göttsching‘s landmark E2-E4 sitting pretty in the Top 5. The German guitarist and producer is one of the all-time great Kosmische musicians, responsible for a string of essential album-length wig outs with Ash Ra Tempel and a host of well-regarded solo records over his long career. The show, coordinated by Need2Soul and Oval Space Music, will mark his first concert in the capital since 2000 – when, alongside Klaus Schulze, he sold out the Royal Albert Hall – and should prove revelatory.

Support comes from Innervisions super-duo Schwarzmann, aka the auspicious union of Henrik Schwarz an Frank Wiedemann. Their improvisational live set should prove a vital addition to the bill. Head here for tickets and further information.
