Not content with being one of dance music’s most rhythmically advanced and inventive producers, Dave Huismans is also prolific as hell.

Having concentrated last year primarily on his techno-leaning A Made Up Sound project, releasing the blinding ‘Rear Window’ 12″ on Delsin and three absolute belters via his own eponymous imprint, 2011 will see the Dutch producer put out his third album in three years as 2562.

Unlike the previous two albums, Aerial (2008) and Unbalance (2009), the new 2562 full-length will not be issued through Bristol’s Tectonic but rather a new label headed up by Huismans, When In Doubt, which aims to release “personal, formula-free music”.

Entitled Fever, the LP is scheduled for release on April 4 and will be available as 2×12″, CD and digital. It will be preceded by a single on When In Doubt, ‘Aquatic Family Affair’/’This Is Hardcore’, limited to 300 copies and pressed on blue 10″ vinyl. Both tracks bode well for the album, boasting that signature 2562 swing but also sounding notably less minimalist than previous material, the grooves more intricate and developed, the harmonics richer.

When In Doubt 10″ tracklist:
A1. Aquatic Family Affair
B1. This Is Hardcore
