Buzzin’ Fly’s Spring Party takes place at Cable in London on Saturday 5 March.

Mainman Ben Watt will be joined by his longtime compadre Chris Woodward, and a very special guest in the shape of Tevo Howard (pictured). Those of you who follow house music closely will doubtless already be familiar with this Chicago producer, who has of late been dropping seriously deep and arresting tracks on Rush Hour, his own Beautiful Granville imprint and most recently Buzzin’ Fly (the warmly received ‘The Age of Compassion’). With an album coming out via Rush Hour later in the year, it’s safe to say that Howard is going to be a star by the time ’11’s out. Be sure to catch him in the ascendant at this party, where he’ll be playing both a live set and a later DJ set.

In addition to Tevo, Watt welcomes Cologne’s Marcus Worgull, an Innervisions regular and the man responsible for one of it’s most enduring anthems, ‘Dragon Loop’ (from 2007’s Texel EP).

Room 2 is hosted by Disco Bloodbath, and they’ve secured the services of their old mucker Prins Thomas to headline for ’em. Few DJs can claim to be as eccentric or as gleefully dancefloor-smashing as the Full Pupp boss, whose deep, discerning love of disco, house and techno is open-minded enough to embrace influences from psychedelia, rock ‘n roll and beyond.
