VVV – ‘Project Y’

VVV has announced details of his debut album for Glasgow’s Fortified Audio label, Across the Sea.

Based in Texas, VVV makes dusty 2-step that has found fans in Martin Clark and more in the few years he’s been active. He’s only released two singles to date (last year’s Projects EP on Fortitied Audio comes particularly recommended), but he’s already developed a signature style of sun-baked, dusty garage – a style which, judging by the available audio from Across the Sea, gets further coloured in by warm soft synths and sharp treble melodies as the album progresses.
