Ricardo Villalobos, Eats Everything and Sven Vath sign up for new We Are FSTVL festival

Brand new one-day festival We Are FSTVL will open for business on May 25.

We Are FSTVL is a 15,000 capacity  dance event, based at Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Upminster, Essex. Situated 20 minutes by train from central London, the bash promises 70+ acts spread over 10 different stages, all doing their thing on an 122 acre former WW1 airfield. Attractions include an audiovisual crop circle, a beach stage, and an arena made “entirely out of shipping containers.”

Minimal don Ricardo Villalobos, responsible for last year’s wonderful Dependent And Happy, will be appearing, and can be expected to deliver a dazzling exercise in polyrhythmic play and controlled tension. Good-time house heavyweight Eats Everything is on the top half of the ticket, as is arena-filling Cocoon boss Sven Väth. mulletover have also co-ordinated a fine stage, bringing along Kerri Chandler, Huxley, Joy Orbison and Boddika for the ride.

Sub FocusBreakage, and Rudimental are among the bigger d’n’b-leaning names, and Dixon, Art Departmet and Damian Lazarus will all rep Crosstown Rebels. Further names on the bill include Petre Inspirescu, DJ Sneak, Guy Gerber, MK, Deetron and Dusky. More artists are yet to be announced.

We Are FSTVL will run from 11.00am until 2.30am the following morning. Tickets and further information are available here.
