Over 50 acts unveiled for the beachside festival.

Unknown, the dance-focused festival that made its debut in Croatia last summer, has announced a raft of names for the 2014 edition.

Chvrches, Mount Kimbie, Wild Beasts, Forest Swords, Henrik Schwarz and James Holden are all lined up to play live sets across the five-day event, while among the dozens of DJs on the bill you’ll find Innervisions reps Dixon and Âme, UK talents Joy Orbison, Daniel Avery and Jackmaster, Kompakt’s Michael Mayer, disco evangeliser DJ Harvey and Running Back boss Gerd Janson.

The festival takes place from September 8-12 in Rovinj, Croatia at a site nestled between the Adriatic Sea and the old town, where punters can expect daytime and evening parties on boats, by the pool, on the beach and on local islands – check out our gallery of photos from last year’s Unknown.
