Croatian shindig Unknown announces another wave of new acts. 

Unknown runs from September 8-12 in Rovinj, at a stunning location squidged between the old town and the Adriatic Sea; as our portfolio of photos from last year’s Unknown shows, it’s a gorgeous place to set up camp for five days – and the new additions should add an extra incentive to make the trip.

Jamie xx – always a popular bet for this sort of affair – will be escaping the recording sessions for The xx’s third album and heading to Croatia. The almighty Chic, whose stock has risen no end after Nile Rodgers’ stellar 2013, will be bringing their armoury of game-making disco hits, and chart-toppers Disclosure will be on DJ duty. Modeselektor/Apparat union Moderat will play live, space disco dude Prins Thomas will appear, and London Grammar, Clean Bandit and DJ Koze are also freshly confirmed.

They join the likes of Chvrches, Mount Kimbie, Wild Beasts, Forest Swords, Henrik Schwarz and James Holden, amongst others. Head to Unknown’s website for more information and to score tickets.
