Sónar and Red Bull Music Academy are teaming up once again, with 21 artists appearing under the RBMA banner at the 2010 edition of the Barcelona festival.

Top billing on the Academy-curated SonarDome stage at Sónar by Day goes to Detroit house icon Moodymann, who’ll be DJing, and Canada’s own Caribou, who’ll be performing live, presumably showcasing the more house-leaning, upbeat direction of his recently released Swim album.

Other highlights include former FACT mixers Jackmaster, Braiden and Space Dimension Controller, three very different artists who between them embody all kinds of new avenues of exploration for house, funky, garage, techno, dubstep, disco and electro (pretty comprehensive, then…). LuckyMe’s Lunice is also on board, along with Citinite’s AD Bourke, the wonderful Pursuit Grooves (performing live), and Brainfeeder’s TOKiMONSTA.
