Belgium’s Dour Festival has announced a handful of new names for 2013, joining Skream, Amon Tobin and Smashing Pumpkins.

Leading the charge is Simian Mobile Disco. The duo of James Ford and Jas Shaw have become more direct with their brand of dance music in recent years, incorporating delay-soaked acid and distortion to the fray on recent album Unpatterns. The pair have always been firmly focused on the dancefloor, but Unpatterns captured them at their most crunchy and instinctive yet; an approach that should suit any festival spot.

Speaking of crunch, Pariah and Blawan – a.k.a. Karenn – will be bringing their hardware-heavy live show to Dour, riding high on the strength of some excellent recent remixes and records on their Works the Long Nights label. Dubstep veterans Digital Mystikz (Mala and Coki) also play, as does recent FACT mixer Paul Woolford, Salva, Fritz Kalkbrenner and Camo & Krooked.

Dour takes place from July 18-21 – for more information head here.
