The annual Roundhouse jamboree expands again.

The latest batch of names to be added to next month’s iTunes Festival in London includes a couple of absolute corkers, and they’re playing on the same night and everything. Disco legend, Daft Punk collaborator, cancer survivor and all-round good egg Nile Rodgers will bring Chic to the Roundhouse on 14 September, with support from flamboyant retro-futurist Janelle Monae.

Other names added to the month-long gig series include Auto-Tuned oddballs Poliça, who support Sigur Rós on 2 September, plus indie rockers Palma Violets, garage-punk duo Drenge, British rapper Tinie Tempah and, in perhaps the strangest pairing, emo originals Jimmy Eat World supporting Kings Of Leon.
