Jamie xx takes his old bandmate skating round London in the video for ‘Loud Places’.

Romy Madley Croft contributes her signature soft vocals to the track, which appears on The xx producer’s forthcoming solo LP In Colour.

“We grew up skateboarding together,” says Jamie. “When I was thinking of what the video for Loud Places should be, I kept coming back to the idea of Romy and I skating in London, visiting the places we used to go to. It’s a part of our friendship not many people really know about and it’s something I wanted to share.”

The album is out on June 1 on Young Turks and also features rapper Young Thug and dancehall export Popcaan.
