Lou Reed has cancelled his upcoming appearance at US festival Coachella.

Citing “unavoidable complications”, Reed has also cancelled the surrounding West Coast dates of his tour, which were due to take place in San Francisco, Monterey and Los Angeles from April 14-17 [via The Scenester].
