These days, there’s no real shortage of proof that the house and techno underground is in rude health.

But it’s nonetheless nice to hear the injection of some young blood into proceedings. ‘Pluton’ is the title track from Amsterdam-based producer Zoltan’s forthcoming EP, on young London label Granholme. He’s only got a handful of releases to his name, but on the strength of this he’s got promising form – driven by a swooping and diving bass pulse, it manages to find something to smirk about in amongst the expertly executed dancefloor mechanics.
