Mishka NYC has just posted a new mixtape by Chicago rap four-piece BBU entitled bell hooks for free download. Mixed by DJ Benzi, bell hooks includes guests verses from Das Racist and GLC, as well as production by Stefan Ponce, Montana Macks, and The Hood Internet, amongst others. Its title comes from the pen name of Gloria Jean Watkins, a famed feminist writer – a fact reflected in the highly political lyrics therein.
