Watch the Brooklyn rapper’s unseasonable new video.

‘Summer’ is the latest from Brooklynite paleo-rap renaissance man Ka’s album Grief Pedigree. The self-directed clip, for a song of that title, is downright wintry. Ka chillingly raps, “This gon’ be the summer they come for me,” while staring into the camera with steely eyes in an empty, black-and-white cityscape. Seasons change, but not for the Bronzevillian.
