The group may have been guilty of their more tedious moments in the past, but Bloc Party sure as hell know their way around a soaring dance-pop tune.

‘Day Four’, a new cut from the group’s Four – their fourth album, in case you couldn’t guess – is just that. Propelled by a driving drum beat, every single element, from the lead guitars, to the keys, seem to ascend unstoppably, and by the time the strings come in it’s game over.
