Last month, we streamed a preview mix of Brothers Fowl, the debut album by Scotland-based artist Dam Mantle. 

Dam Mantle clearly dreams in tape fuzz: Brothers Fowl takes serious efforts to be as warm and enveloping as possible, with steady house and hip-hop beats drenched in dreamily reverberated leads and magical sprinkles of stardust. It really is a lovely listen, without falling into the same beige territory that others do when they’re trying too hard to sound pretty – you can stream it in full below.
