Following on from news of the forthcoming Jet Age Of Tomorrow album, here’s another offering from the gentler wing of Odd Future Corp. 

As The Fader report, Syd Tha Kid and Matt Martians will ride again as The Internet later this year on the Feel Good EP. Its looks like a telling title: new track ‘Give It Time’ is hands down one of the more smouldering cuts in The Internet’s catalogue.

Compared with the mutant psych/soul of this year’s splendid Purple Naked Ladies, ‘Give It Time’ unusually somnolent. Syd’s pretty vocals sound more confident than ever, riding the changes with ease. With some lovely fusion basswork and wiggly guitar ornamentation showcasing Syd and Martians’ apparently effortless melodic sensibilities, it’s a welcome return.
