Back in April, Night Slugs launched their new mix series with a fine session from label co-owner Bok Bok.
It’s now fellow Night Slugs cheque-signer L-Vis 1990’s turn to play selector, and he’s turned out a spirited set. It’s stacked with off-the-radar L-Vis 1990 material, including lesser-known tracks (‘Not Mad’, Temptation Ha’), a neat L-Vis/Thomas Bangalter mash-up and refixes of Paul Woolford’s ‘Erotic Discourse’ and Prince’s oft-maligned ‘Batdance’. Night Slugs/Fade To Mind artists Bok Bok and MikeQ keep things in the family, whilst cuts from Robert Hood and Tronco Traxx point towards days gone by.
