Scottish trio The Twilight Sad have been dismantled and reconstituted by a host of remixers.

After two well-received LPs, this year’s No One Can Ever Know saw the band refining their gloomy, windswept strand of indie-rock. No Once Can Ever Know – The Remixes collects reworks of material from that record, and there’s a catholic selection of remixers on board.

Slanted odd-rockers ‘Liars’ sprinkle some WIXIW dust on their gloomy/groovy interpretation of ‘Nil’. Synth whizz Com Truise channels Geogaddi on a remix of ‘Sick’, and local lad JD Twitch (of Optimo) turns out a cluttered version of ‘Alphabet’. The Horrors’ Tom Furse, Brokenchord, Warsnare, Breton and Ambassaduers also contribute new takes.
