Throwing Snow continues to light the way on gleaming new cut ‘Behest’
The launch of Throwing Snow‘s Snowfall imprint seems to have given the London-based producer a newfound sense of freedom, and its an impression that continues on ‘Behest’, the latest track to leak from new EP Aspera.
Although a decent chunk of ‘Behest’ is 4×4, there’s little concession to the dancefloor: gently glowing, it moves at a pace far slower than your average house or techno – or, God forbid, “bass” record – and once its groove is established, all focus is on a shimmering build of manipulated strings and crackling, tape saturated sinewaves.
Aspera will be released on December 3.
