Lone offers up unreleased ambient sketch ‘Ghost Channel’
More festive offerings from the Twittersphere, this time from dreamy synth pad enthusiast Lone.
The track was signposted on Lone’s Twitter, accompanied with the message: “Here’s an unreleased track i made almost exactly a year ago. Happy holidays x”.
It’s a half-step away from the ecstatic cosmic house of Galaxy Garden, importing that record’s stately air but jettisoning the drum programming entirely. The result is a light, bright ambient piece, and serves as a lovely palate cleanser after a year of hi-energy antics from the Nottingham producer. [via Pitchfork]
