Granted, it’s for a Lincoln advert but this is pretty damn cool.

As announced last week, West Coast wildcard Beck had signed up to perform David Bowie’s ‘Sound & Vision with “no limitations or restrictions”, for a concert sponsored by the motor company. Being Beck, he performed the piece with a 157-piece orchestra – conducted by Beck’s father David Campbell, and featuring orchestral standards like xylophone, mandolin, electric guitar and, as Rolling Stone point out, “a man playing a bent saw blade” – on a slowly rotating stage. Also being Beck, it takes a while to get going, but the eventual results are wonderful.
