Most of Norway’s contributions to the dance music world – Lindstrom, Terje, Thomas et al – favour slow, chugging grooves. Not Oslo’s Slick Shoota, though. 

With a Soundcloud packed full of remixes both official and bootleg (check his blinding takes on Jessie Ware and Disclosure’s ‘Running’ remix and Hudson Mohawke’s ‘Cbat’ in the latter camp), the footwork convert is quickly becoming one of FACT’s favourite remixers, and he keeps up a fine run of form on his popping take on OL & ¥oin’s ‘Sink’, forthcoming on new label Finegrains.
