The singer-songwriter originally described as a “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” covers a song by one of her inspirations.

Like her recently released Leonard Cohen cover, this video is quite unexpected; also like her take on ‘Chelsea Hotel’, it’s a reverent version of Nancy Sinatra’s 1967 duet with Lee Hazlewood without the grandiose production of Born To Die.

Similarly, the Super 8 home movie-styled video is reminiscent of Del Rey’s early YouTube clips, showing Del Rey with her duet partner (and actual boyfriend) Barrie-James O’Neill of Scottish act Kassidy.
