Last year, New York producer Nicolas Jaar‘s Just Friends project – a collaboration with Sasha ‘daughter of Steven’ Spielberg – debuted a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Avalanche’ on Jaar’s BBC Essential Mix [see audio below].

The cover has now been released, complete with remixes from two very different Los Angeles musicians in Julia Holter and Shlohmo. You can preview both remixes over at Juno; the 12″ should be appearing in various stores this week.
