The elusive producer shares his first new song since 2011’s ‘Stay Together’.

Redinho emerged in 2010 with a handful of releases for Glasgow’s Numbers. His vocoded ‘Stay Together’ was one of the finest tracks of 2011, but we haven’t heard any new music from the producer since then.

‘Stinger’ is his most outsized song to date, with an 80s-facing synth melody and arena-sized drum rolls. Presumably, the song appears on his debut album, due out this summer on Numbers. The label’s first album, Spencer described it as “a proper album listen: melodic, quite poppy in parts, 80s funk/talkbox in bits, atmospheric electronic in others” in an interview with FACT.
